These are slides for a talk I gave in the Pure Mathematics Graduate Colloquium at the University of Waterloo on . The talk was about John Brzustowski’s master’s thesis “Can you win at Tetris?”, which explores the question of whether there is a winning strategy for Tetris; that is, whether a game of Tetris can be prolonged indefinitely.
